Hi I’m Kevin, and I run this website along with my 2 pooches Milo and Lex Luthor. I do the writing and they do the testing. It’s a pretty good arrangement. They get to relax and enjoy comfortable beds, blankets and dog snuggies, while I get to do all the writing. Curse these opposable thumbs! Actually I really like testing dog supplies out and writing about it, because there’s a lot of good and a lot of bad on the market, and if I can help a few people avoid some crappy products I’m happy. Did I mention my pups really like testing? They tend to eat everything they come in contact with, so I end up replacing stuff on a constant basis.

This site actually started out as a school project – I’m going back to get my degree in graphic arts, and in one of my computer classes we had to create a basic website idea & published it. It took me quite a long time (I think the dogs would have done it quicker) but eventually I ended up with a half-decent site about dog related reviews. Look ma, I’m on the internet!

I was also really inspired by Dog Food Advisor, a site I stumbled upon while trying to find hypoallergenic dog food for Lex Luthor – he was not in agreement with his food – and I was not in agreement with the accidents he kept having on the carpet…multiple times. Let’s just say I used the website and found exactly what I needed without any BS. Lex is doing much better with his new diet, which I’m of course absolutely delighted with.

If you’re still reading this (really, why?) I really really like the Halo foundation, and would be thrilled if you went out and learned more about the organization, and would be super thrilled if you were able to donate a few bucks to it. It’s a really good cause.
